Since 1980 Jochen has been an essential part of Berlin's art and music scene, as a member of bands such as Die Haut, Martin Dean and the legendary, avant-garde noise band Einstürzende Neubauten.

Amplify Berlin is a residency program initiated by ACUD Macht Neu, designed to support emerging Berlin-based musicians through mentorships with more established ones in order to facilitate creative development through guidance, a focused work environment and access to resources.
