Andy is a computer scientist, sound designer, author and a pioneer in the field of procedural audio. His book, ‘Designing Sound‘, is one of the leading texts on procedural sound design. Ahead of his talk, Andy has very kindly created a 45-min video around his creative process using Command Line and the Carla audio plugin host, and how this setup can speed up your workflow when generating new ideas. dBs are incredibly pleased to welcome back video game sound designer Bjørn Jacobsen for an interactive Q&A session where you will have the chance to talk to him about his work across projects like Hitman, Cyberpunk 2077, DARQ, EVE Online, and his wider experience working in the video game audio industry.
This session is designed for so that everyone can have their questions asked on the night, but we'd also like to build up a bank of questions ahead of the session so Bjørn knows what interest areas everyone has and where necessary, can prepare any additional resources to help answer those questions.
