Hey all, a note to say that the train drivers union GDL has announced it is planning further strike action over 6 days beginning this Wednesday (24.01) at 2am, and running until next Monday 29.01) at 6pm. Additionally a separate Union (DB Cargo) is striking on Tuesday, which may cause delays on passenger trains tomorrow (23.01).

As before this will affect regional, long distance trains, and S-Bahn trains in the city (the S-Bahn is running but at a greatly reduced service). 

The BVG is not planning to strike, so U-Bahn, trams, buses and ferries will run as normal, though likely busier. More info is available here.
