Hi Everyone,

As we move closer to the start of the semester it's important that everyone familiarize themselves with the new protocol and procedures which are outlined in this Hygiene Protocol & Procedures document.

These new procedures are based on and respond to the traffic light system which Berlin uses to signal the severity of the pandemic.

Please use this LINK to see the current state of the corona traffic light for Berlin.

What are the biggest changes?

  • Students attending in person class or bookings must show proof of vaccination, recovery, or a valid negative test which is no older than 72 hours. At this time we are unable to accept self tests.
  • FFP2 masks will remain mandatory in all closed rooms except in specific circumstances which observe the hygiene protocols and procedures, such as singing and other artistic work which requires the removal of a mask.
  • Always check in to the rooms using the available QR codes.

Please note that it will not be possible for Catalyst to provide onsite testing in the scope that is required. We encourage you to take advantage of the numerous vaccination options available and make use of the testing clinics across Berlin. For more information see the resources section in the policy above or check the FAQ online.

We are committed to holding the majority of our classes on site and in person, and in order to give us the best chance of doing so it is vital that we all build these habits together.

As always, if you have questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.

Enjoy the rest of your summer, and make sure to keep an eye on this space for a few exciting updates.
