TimeLab Symposium for New Media and Electronic Art

TimeLab, a Berlin-based studio for advanced research, is excited to announce their new Symposium for New Media and Electronic Art, taking place on the 17-18th Feb, 2023.

The symposium aims to encourage communication and an exchange of knowledge between artists in Berlin engaged in new media theory and practice, whilst contributing to fostering a network in the field of new media.

/// Open Call form for submissions

“We welcome participation in the form of short talks (10-15mins), long presentations (20-30 mins), performances, or being part of the group exhibition. Works in all stages of progress are welcomed, whether that's in the form of a talk in order to bounce ideas and obtain feedback, share research for an ongoing project, presenting a prototype, or showcasing a fully realised piece.

The lingua franca of the event is English. However, if there is a speaker who would like to do their talk in a different language (German, Spanish, etc.), they should indicate so in the description so that we can provide the necessary resources to facilitate that. We never want language to be the barrier that limits participation.

Submissions must ideally be received by January 27th.”

The symposium is looking for a range of volunteers to help make this non-profit event happen. If you're interested in helping out, please leave your details and they will be in touch soon.
