Student Representative Elections

What is a Student Representative?

A Student Rep is the voice of their class. They’re nominated by their peers to support their peers! They share feedback and raise any concerns about the school via the Student Rep Link, and they can play a role in keeping their fellow classmates informed about the latest developments within the school community.

How do elections work?

Over the next couple of weeks, members from the Learning Support team will be visiting your workshops so that you can vote in the student representative for your class. We ask that in advance you think about, or discuss with your class, who you feel could best represent you (this can be you!).

What's expected?

Once a semester the Student Reps from music, film, visual media and acting meet to discuss topics collected from their classmates. These meetings are facilitated by Catalyst’s Student Rep Link, a member of staff who is responsible for collecting student feedback and channelling it out to the right teams. Using the points raised in the sessions, staff teams create action points geared towards elevating your school experience.

We look forward to meeting with you soon to vote for your 2023/24 student representative!
