Dear Students and Team,

This last Monday the German state government decided to extend the current lockdown measures until the 28th of March. This extension comes with changes in the number of people we may see in private settings, and it describes strategies and factors which must be in place for reopening certain sectors of the economy.

These new measures do not change our current operating measures and we are still required to provide online lessons until the 31st of March. Practical lessons may still take place in person if the nature of the lesson requires specialized equipment or rooms.

The measures do mean that it becomes easier for us to allow two households to a maximum of 5 people to participate in recording sessions, or film productions inside and outside the Catalyst facility.

Please note that if you would like to come to Catalyst to work on your projects you are welcome to do so. There are many open spaces that can be used and all of your bookable hours have been increased by 1.5X to make this more possible. Remember that classrooms can be used without using your bookable time.

If you have questions or concerns please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. If you have an important project that needs to be resourced we want to work with you to achieve the outcome you are looking for. Get in touch with myself, your advisor, or your programme lead and we will work to find a solution.
